Siemens Energy are delighted to invite to the soft opening of our Asia Security Operations Center in Malaysia
Join us for the SOC soft opening ceremony, accompanied by keynote speeches from Siemens Energy senior leadership and a panel discussion led by energy sector and cybersecurity experts entitled: Navigating Digitalization and Cybersecurity in the Asian Pacific’s Energy Transition.
Time: Tuesday, 14 February (Registration from 13:00 at Dash Box Hotel, Cyberjaya)
Location: Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia
Background Information
To both advance and secure the energy transition, industrial IoT software applications and cybersecurity solutions must be deployed together - they are two sides of the same coin. Securing both physical and digital assets simultaneously remains a challenge even for skilled defenders in the energy sector because most CISOs and SOCs lack the visibility and context to adequately monitor, detect and mitigate cyber threats across vast IoT networks. Identifying cyber threats across an environment with an increasingly distributed and heterogenous portfolio requires CISOs maintain visibility and understand the context of anomalous behavior to stop a cyberattack before it executes.
To address this challenge, Siemens Energy has developed a purpose-built security operations center to help energy sector CISOs monitor, detect, and defend physical and digital assets. The newly opened Asia SOC leverages Siemens Energy’s MDR capability, powered by our proprietary artificial intelligence based (AI) platform, Eos.ii, with its industry-leading cyber analysts to help customers secure their operating environment 24/7.
