Dr. Ghenadie Bulat

Dr. Ghenadie Bulat is the Manager of Gas Turbine Technologies at Siemens Energy where he leads a global team of highly qualified experts of industrial and aeroderivative gas turbines.

Ghenadie joined Siemens in 2003, a Chartered Engineer, a Member of Institution of Mechanical Engineers, The Combustion Institute, and a visiting professor of combustion at Imperial College London. His experience includes more than 17 years of engineering and management within Product Development and Technology Innovation. As a former Product Owner, he was a global authority for the product development of small gas turbines. Previously, he was managing combustion R&D projects, testing and support of new products and technologies of Siemens gas turbines. Dr. Bulat obtained his PhD from Imperial College London, and his engineering degree from Technical University of Moldova. 

Alex Lawford

Alex Lawford is the Head of Product Management for SGT Service being responsible for product strategy and product development. Alex holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and has worked for Siemens Energy for over twenty-five years, undertaking various mechanical engineering and management roles in this time. He has worked within the new products business for most of his career, most recently in group leader and manager positions within manufacturing support and compressor rotor design. Alex transferred to the Service division in 2012, taking up the position as Product Manager for the mature fleet, before promotion to department head in 2017.
