Embracing the cyber dimension

The Remote Expert Center (REC) concept was established by Siemens Energy over 20 years ago to provide comprehensive, rapid support to all operators of Siemens Energy Instrumentation and Control Solutions.


Right from the start, the REC extended far beyond acting simply as a hotline for Siemens Energy controls related products. Since then, capability has evolved to meet changing needs as a matter of course. Preventive and reactive services were extended to support Industry 4.0 and the cyber dimension has been built into the REC concept.


The goal of providing an integrated service that addresses all potential threats to availability logically makes Cyber a core component of today's REC service.
