New Login Process for the Customer Energy Portal (CEP)
We are in the process of updating our login procedures to ensure that you and your data are safe. This change allows you to take advantage of the additional layer of security that is provided by multi-factor authentication (MFA).
What do I need to do?
Follow the illustrated step-by-step directions to log in to the CEP after September 11, 2023.
If it is registered with Microsoft, you will be prompted for your company Microsoft login password. (You will no longer use your CEP password.)
If your email is not registered with Microsoft, a one-time code will be sent to your email. Enter this code on the pop-up window.
Click "Accept"
Click "Next"
Choice 1 – Download the Microsoft Authenticator App. Click “Next” and follow the directions provided. If you do not want to download the app, please follow Choice 2 below.
Choice 2 – Click “I want to set up a different method” on the previous screen. This will allow you to set up a phone that can be texted or called for verification. If you would like to check your security settings and/or set up your phone by yourself, please click here (Microsoft MySign-Ins). This will also allow you to change your MFA options in the future.
You should now be logged in safely and securely to Siemens Energy’s Customer Energy Portal (CEP). If you have any questions or concerns with this process, please reach out directly to us at cep.energy@siemens-energy.com.
