ATEP is available for 4000F(2) to 4000F(8) and can also be cobined with Service Pack Upgrades.

With the Advanced Plant Efficiency Package (APEP) you can significantly improve efficiency of your Combined Cycle Power Plant.

Through measures in the Balance of Plant you gain improved efficiency, especially for part load operation.

APEP also improves extended turn down capabilities and further increase your operational flexibility.

With APEP you can achieve a reduction of emissions and fuel consumption playing a crucial role during the decarbonization.

These measures are applicable on all type and manufacturers of gas turbine and steam turbine.

The Advanced Plant Efficiency Package is designed for the Balance of Plant BoP of the Combined Cycle Power Plant.

Thermodynamic cycle improvements within BoP scope consisting of hardware and software modifications will be implemented.

The APEP solution will be tailored to your specific technical and commercial requirements.

With Siemens Energy's 50MAC Flex our customers can choose between maintenance interval extension or performance increase on demand. By opting for extended maintenance interval the customer may operate the gas turbine up to 50MAC. Whereas opting for performance increase Siemens Energy's 50MAC Flex may increase the power output by up to 15MW and the efficiency as well by up to 1.3%-pts.

Si3D+™ is a new aerodynamic airfoil design with improved coating technology and cooling air reduction. The upgrade is designed to increase gas turbine efficiency by up to 2.6%pts in simple cycle and up to 1.6%pts in combined cycle while increasing gas turbine power capacity. An additionasl power output of up to 20 MW in simple cycle and up to 38 MW in combined cycle are intended.

Due to the double turn capacity the product might also help to increase maintenance intervals and reduce maintenance costs over lifetime.

The upgrades applies to customers who want to decrease the GT load (in SC / CC) when there is no / low spark spread.

A load reduction up to 20MW (delta) may be achieved in part load (actual figure depends on IGV setting before / after upgrade)
The load reduction potential may lead to fuel gas savings of up to 5.000 Nm/h (relevant for district heating / steam production whenever the gas turbine is not permitted to be shut down)
This Turn Down product can enable very low part load operation down to a minimum of 25% gas turbine load
