Grid engineering program

Our Grid engineering program is a 12-month upskilling program in the power transmission sector that offers training modules and training programs for engineers.

The power transmission market is growing especially within grid solutions. We train our employees to gain practical experience and theoretical knowledge to secure our business today and to tackle upcoming challenges, as market demands grow. Be prepared for an engineering career in the energy sector after completing the program.

Together with technical experts, we implement engaging training modules. We combine digital and face-to-face formats as well as synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities for an exciting learning experience! The grid engineering program includes learning sprints, supports on-the-job training and provides networking opportunities to become part of our international community.

• You‘ll attend three training phases and develop your skills over the course of one year.
• There will be a kick-off event in Erlangen, Germany with onsite teambuilding activities.
• You‘ll network with colleagues from different departments and exchange valuable experience.
• You‘ll participate in several virtual and on-site trainings.
• You’ll get the chance to engage with peers and business leaders, with access to tools that support your growth.

• A completed bachelor's degree in an engineering field​.
• A maximum of one year of work experience / young professionals.
• A willingness to learn new things, work independently, take initiative, and act in a solution-oriented manner​.
• Very good English skills​.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Our motto is to train on the job. You learn by doing everything within three phases of the program and take part in several community events throughout the program.

The program is headquartered in Erlangen and offers opportunities to participants globally, including international locations such as Romania, Hungary, the USA, the UK, and others.

A new batch of participants starts approximately every three months.
