As part of the on-site service work, the customer's existing energy systems can be included in the worldwide Siemens Energy Asset Data. For this purpose, on some of the equipment, depending on the producing facility or service history, a clearly assignable label with a QR code is attached to the equipment. The equipment identification data (Serial Number) is recorded and assigned to the QR code. The QR code is used to be scanned and searched in the Asset Database. The data record in the Asset Data base contains Identification information found on the rating plate and other Specific Technical data. The equipment-specific data contributes to improving lifecycle management and can be used in the Siemens Energy Asset Data base for further service and maintenance measures and for warranty fulfilment for the customer.
