GREEN Solar Herzogenrath GmbH is a company belonging to EWV Energie- und Wasser-Versorgung GmbH and n.s.w. energy gmbh (a subsidiary of Nivelsteiner Sandwerke und Sandsteinbrüche GmbH), as well as the city of Herzogenrath. GREEN Solar operates the largest solar farm in North Rhine-Westphalia, the Herzogenrath Solar Farm. With a peak capacity of more than 14 megawatts (MW), the solar farm supplies more than 4,500 households with renewable power.
