What do we offer?

Three challenging assignments over two years at one of the most innovative energy companies of the world. Here are a few highlights about the program:

We’re very excited to launch our first official Siemens Energy Graduate Program. Anticipated start date for graduates is November 2021. 

We're looking for ambitious graduates of a master’s or doctoral degree or equivalent (within the last two years) seeking a hands-on challenging project that contributes to making sustainable, reliable and affordable energy possible.


The ideal applicants are driven, motivated, open-minded and focused on delivering results; are proactive toward owning important projects and driving their own development. And, have the courage and honesty to challenge yourself, embrace your strengths and build upon them.


A minimum of three months of international experience gained through studying, working, etc. is required. 


Additionally, significant work experience up to 24 months through internships, working student activities or beyond is preferred. 


Candidates must have excellent English acumen and be flexible and mobile during the program.

The mentor plays an important role in the Siemens Energy Graduate Program. Your mentor will support and guide you throughout the program. Together, you will decide which assignments you’ll support depending on your interest, personal development, and the business need. Additionally, you’ll benefit from interactions and discussions with your mentor and build relationships with other contacts at Siemens Energy. 

The Siemens Energy Graduate Program is a global program and opportunities are available in several countries around the world. Candidates are welcome to apply to roles outside of their residing country because we believe that diversity of thought comes from all over!  

Being part of the Siemens Energy Graduate Program means you’re a Siemens Energy employee with a regular permanent employment contract. The conditions of this contract depend on local requirements and regulations. The Graduate Program is not an internship program.

Yes, but we need to be flexible during Covid times. As a global company, the assignment abroad will give you more exposure to our culture. We’ll support you in selecting the best destination for your assignment abroad so you can get the most out of it. Because of Covid circumstances we may need to adapt and find adaptive solutions.

You can apply and show interest for a specific area you would like to work in. We try to match your interest and qualifications to the demands coming from the business. We are currently hiring into the following areas: assurance, business development / sales management, cybersecurity, digitalization, engineering, environmental management, finance, industrial/mechanical/electrical/software engineering, IT, marketing, operations, production and manufacturing, performance controlling & business development, product life cycle management, sales, and project management. 

This greatly depends on your performance and interests during the program. You’ll discuss this with your mentor throughout and they will support you in your transition once the program comes to an end. You may be offered a position in your home organisation, home country or abroad, based on availability.
