Dr. Michael Loehr

Senior Key Expert for Lifetime Assessment of Steam Turbines  |  Siemens Energy

Dr. Michael Loehr brings over 20 years of experience to steam turbine engineering. Starting in academia, he specialized in civil engineering and mechanics before becoming a research assistant. His career at Siemens Energy began in 2005, where he worked as a mechanical engineer for steam turbines. In his current position, Michael supports the remaining lifetime assessment and analysis of steam turbines in combined cycle and steam power plants. Another focus area is developing condition-based and predictive maintenance for large steam turbines.  

Cengiz Oezcan

Service Product Marketing Manager  |  Siemens Energy

Cengiz Oezcan is an expert in steam turbine products and is responsible for steam turbine service product marketing. Since joining Siemens Energy in 2006, Cengiz has worked in various roles in the field of product integration, product management and marketing. He holds a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Duisburg in Germany and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

Christoph Doeppe

Head of Welding Technology  |  Siemens Energy

Christoph Doeppe is the Head of Welding Technology. His team provides mobile welding and coating solutions for power plants, as well as mobile additive manufacturing technologies for on-site parts refurbishment options. Christoph started his career with Siemens Energy in 2006 as a program manager for product integrity. He has a strong professional management and engineering background in providing high-level technical capabilities. He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Essen, Germany.
