Siemens Energy has appointed Marcela Souza as Senior Vice President for Latin America effective January 12, 2026.
Marcela holds a law degree from Mackenzie Presbyterian University, and an MBA in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV/SP). She currently serves as General Counsel for Siemens Energy in Brazil and as Compliance Officer for Latin America.
Born in Santos, Brazil, Marcela brings more than 20 years of experience safeguarding companies’ reputations in highly complex matters. During the 17 years working at Siemens Energy and Siemens, she held various management positions and played an instrumental role in strengthening the conglomerate’s governance structure.
The executive will be the first woman to hold the highest management position at Siemens Energy in Latin America, succeeding André Clark, who will become CEO at a pharmaceutical company. She will lead the operational strategy across a diverse regional network of 9 factories and several offices, spanning 13 different countries, elevating performance for a team of 7,200 employees.
