Matthias Rebellius has served on Siemens Energy's Supervisory Board since the company's spin-off in 2020 as one of two representatives of Siemens AG. Since then, Siemens AG has substantially reduced its shares in Siemens Energy, as planned. Following his departure from the Executive Board of Siemens AG at the end of September, Matthias Rebellius has also resigned from his supervisory board mandate at Siemens Energy.
Finnish executive Pekka Lundmark brings more than three decades of leadership experience across global technology and energy businesses to Siemens Energy's Supervisory Board. His appointment adds further CEO-level expertise to the board, alongside extensive knowledge of digital technologies and artificial intelligence. As CEO of Nokia from 2020 to 2025, Lundmark led the Finnish communications technology group through a period marked by the global rollout of 5G networks and the expansion to AI data center networking. Prior to that, he served as CEO of Finnish energy company Fortum, where he oversaw a comprehensive portfolio of energy generation and trading assets. Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade leading listed industrial crane manufacturer Konecranes.
