Lukas Biyikli currently serves as the R&D Portfolio Manager for Integrally Geared Compressors, CCUS, and Heat Pumps. Lukas has previously worked in Business Development and Sales for emerging compression technologies and applications, including hydrogen, clean fuels, heat pumps, steam compression, and CCUS. He has pioneered innovative approaches to integrate turbo and reciprocating compressors into process applications and developed a technique that couples a CO₂ compressor with the LP steam provision for amine-based carbon capture systems. Lukas’ vast experience and expertise in emerging compression technologies, coupled with his a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Hochschule Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences, make him an invaluable member to the Siemens Energy team.
