Webinar Maintenance Strategies for Power Transformers

Available on demand
Length:
60 minutes

Transformer maintenance practices and strategies are currently in transition. The background for this mainly is the increasingly longer delivery times and prices for new assets, the demands for greater sustainability as well as digitalization. There is a wide range of analysis and measurement technologies on the market including online monitoring, but also other services such as oil treatment, drying or other preventive measures. The question is how do to bundle these offerings into a suitable approach that is both as effective as possible from a technical AND economic point of view?

The starting point when evaluating maintenance strategies are their costs and benefits. The costs are essentially the expenses for the above offers. On the other hand, the benefit is primarily in the form of operational risk reductions. However, effects and impact of life extension must also be considered.

A complete and transparent risk assessment and evaluation of business drivers including regulatory aspects is the prerequisite for determining the optimal maintenance strategy. Siemens Energy Grid Technologies offers suitable maintenance packages for power transformers. We support our customers in all phases from the risk analysis to the planning and implementation of maintenance strategies and individual measures. Our TechTalk is available on demand now!
